When importing data to Reviso, it must be saved as Excel files or CSV (comma delimited) format. This format is available in all versions of Excel. If you have your list of products or services in Excel file, you can quickly load it into Reviso instead of creating it manually one by one.

Take a look at this short video which takes you through the process:-

It is important to know that before importing your data regarding products or services, it is necessary to create at least one product group.

Excel file

Your Excel file shall include product data, which are distributed into columns. The order of columns does not matter since Reviso will remind you to check which data shall be included in each column. A sample list of products:

Go to Sales > Products and click on the icon on the upper right stating Show import options > Import products.

Upload the adequate file and you will see a window with two different tables. The top table shows data from your Excel file and the bottom one contains columns of data that Reviso needs. You will have to indicate, which data correspond to each particular column.

Example: The first requested information is the Product Nº. You can see in your file (at the top) that the product is inside the first column. Therefore, you can select Column 1 from the drop-down menu.

The bottom table shows some titles in bold and others not. Those in bold are required fields. Others are not necessary, so if you do not have them in your file, you should not worry. If you find a field in bold, which is mandatory to fill in, but you do not have it in your Excel file, you can choose Fixed Value from the drop-down menu. In the field below you select an option called apply for all products. Please note the two options at the top of the screen. Skip lines allows you to skip the titles of your file so that they are not taken into account in your import. Create New Items must be used for the creation of new product data. Once you verify that all the data from the bottom table, or at least the obligatory ones, are defined, click on Import data.
